About the Role

Action contre la Faim France is seeking an animator to facilitate awareness sessions about hunger with young audiences in schools across Paris and the Île-de-France region as part of the "Course contre la Faim" (Race Against Hunger) campaign.

Contract Duration: March 5, 2026 – April 17, 2026 (1.5 months / 6 weeks) Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (CDD) Status: Supervisory staff (Agent de maîtrise) Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate awareness and educational sessions with young audiences in schools in Paris and Créteil
• Represent Action Against Hunger and communicate the organization's mission effectively
• Assist with planning and coordinating campaign activities
• Coordinate and support volunteers participating in the campaign
• Travel frequently throughout the Île-de-France region to different schools and locations

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac +2/3)

Experience:

• Experience in animation/facilitation preferred
• BAFA (French youth work qualification) valued but not required

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent public speaking abilities, comfortable presenting to young audiences
• Organizational and coordination abilities
• Valid driver's license (permis B) with access to a vehicle
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

Location: Based in Paris with frequent travel throughout Île-de-France region

Work Mode: Hybrid - No mandatory on-site presence outside collective meeting times. Telework available from mainland France.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: €30,000-€34,000 gross annually (13-month basis, pro-rated for contract duration)
