Who We Are (and Who We're NOT)

We're here to help people find humanitarian and nonprofit job opportunities, not to represent any official entity. We're an independent, privately operated service.

By using HumanityJobs, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you're under 18, please exit the site now.

What We Provide

Here's what HumanityJobs offers:

• Job Listing Aggregation: We collect and display job postings from external sources (like NGO career pages, nonprofit job boards, and multilateral organization sites).
• Free Job Alerts: You can subscribe to receive email notifications when new job postings are added to our site.
• "As-Is" Content: Job listings are sourced from third-party websites. We display them as they appear on the original source—we don't modify or verify the content.

What we DON'T do: We are not a recruiter, employer, or staffing agency. We don't hire anyone or have any control over the hiring process. We're a directory for humanitarian and nonprofit roles.

No Guarantees on Job Listing Accuracy

Let's be real: job listings come from external sources, and we can't verify every single one. Here's what you need to know:

• Aggregated Content: Job postings are pulled from third-party websites. We don't create the job listings—we just display them.
• No Verification: We cannot verify the accuracy, legitimacy, or current availability of job postings. Listings may be outdated, expired, or contain errors.
• Not Responsible for Errors: If a job posting has incorrect information (salary, location, requirements, etc.), that's on the original source, not us.

Free Service (With Future Paid Features)

Right now, HumanityJobs is 100% free. You can browse job listings and subscribe to job alerts without paying a dime.

Future Paid Features: We may introduce premium features in the future (like advanced search filters, resume reviews, or priority job alerts). If we do, we'll notify you before charging for anything. You'll never be charged without your explicit consent.

User Conduct Rules

To keep this service running smoothly, we ask that you follow a few basic rules:

• No Spamming or Abuse: Don't spam our contact forms, send abusive messages, or harass other users.
• No Unauthorized Automated Access: Don't use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the site without our permission. If you want to use our data, email us first.
• No Misrepresentation: Don't impersonate anyone else, pretend to be affiliated with an organization you don't represent, or misrepresent your identity.
• No Illegal Activities: Don't use the site for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.

Consequences: If you violate these rules, we reserve the right to terminate your access to the site and job alert subscriptions without notice.

Our site contains links to third-party websites (job boards, employer career pages, etc.). Here's what you need to know:

• Not Our Sites: When you click a job listing, you're taken to an external website. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service.

Liability Limitations

We provide this service "as is" without any warranties or guarantees. Here's the legal stuff:

No Warranties:

We make no warranties, express or implied, about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of job listings
• The availability or uninterrupted operation of the site
• The results you'll get from using the site (we can't guarantee you'll get a job)

Not Liable for Job Application Outcomes:

We are not responsible for what happens after you apply for a job. We're not involved in the hiring process, employment decisions, or employer-employee relationships. If you have a bad experience with an employer, that's between you and them—not us.

Limitation of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HumanityJobs and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. This includes (but isn't limited to) lost wages, missed job opportunities, or emotional distress.

Maximum Liability: If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is currently $0, since the site is free).

Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem with the site or our services, let's try to work it out like adults before lawyers get involved.

Informal Resolution Required:

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@humanityjobs.com and give us a chance to resolve the issue. We'll make a good faith effort to work things out within 30 days.

Good Faith Effort: This means actually trying to resolve the issue—not just sending a token email before filing a lawsuit. If we can't resolve it, then you're free to pursue legal action.

Termination Rights

Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the site at any time, for any reason (or no reason), without notice. This includes if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in conduct we deem inappropriate.

Your Right to Terminate: You can stop using the site anytime. If you want to unsubscribe from job alerts, just click the unsubscribe link in any email or email us at hello@humanityjobs.com.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your Continued Use = Acceptance: By continuing to use HumanityJobs after we update these terms, you agree to the new terms. If you don't agree with the changes, stop using the site.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in accordance with U.S. law.
