Job Description
Overview
Habitat for Humanity Asia Pacific seeks a consultant to document climate-resilient housing best practices across the region, synthesizing TWG inputs and external evidence into a comprehensive best-practices report.
Scope of Work
- Review TWG technical documents, hazard profiles, and project repositories
- Consult with country offices on local housing contexts and climate risks
- Review regional/global literature and standards
- Draft, validate, and finalize the best-practices documentation
Deliverables
- Synthesis document and literature review
- Draft and final best-practices documentation
- Validation workshop report
Timeline
- February to June 2026 (five months)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in relevant fields (architecture, engineering, planning, climate science)
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with multi-country assessments and climate-resilient housing
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills
