Job Description
Position Summary
Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a part-time farm hand to support its community farm, growing produce for local patients and neighbors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with harvest, washing, and packaging produce
- Support planting, weeding, and greenhouse tasks
- Maintain farm tools and participate in daily cleanup
- Follow Certified Naturally Grown practices
Qualifications
- Farming or landscaping experience preferred; willingness to learn required
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
Schedule
- Busy season: 24-28 hours/week
- Off season: 16-20 hours/week
