Director of Development

Position Overview

Uplift Malawi seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy, donor acquisition, and revenue growth in a fully remote, U.S.-based role. The position will build systems and processes and partner with the Executive Director and board.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual fundraising with a $200,000+ goal
• Build donor acquisition and stewardship pipelines
• Run campaigns, appeals, and peer-to-peer fundraising
• Establish fundraising systems, KPIs, and reporting
• Support grants and partnerships with foundations and corporate donors

Qualifications

• 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience
• Success in donor acquisition and individual giving
• Experience building fundraising systems
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000
• Fully remote, flexible work environment
