Fund Raising Intern or Volunteer

Journey of Hope-Nepal is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to provide educational opportunities to students from poor and marginalized families in Nepal. We envision that every child has access to quality education that helps to unlock their full potential and contribute to a better, brighter future for themselves, their families, communities, and country.

The program activities include provision of scholarships, quality education, construction of school buildings in poor communities, and youth skill training for employment. We strongly believe that education is a powerful tool that brings positive change into a person's life, their family, community, and nation.

Journey of Hope-Nepal's approach is to work in partnership with local non-profit organizations to implement impactful, sustainable, and culturally appropriate programs. We have established strong partnerships with local organizations in Nepal. Working together with local partners, we have created a small endowment fund whose returns support the scholarship program. We have already launched the scholarship program and distributed the first round of scholarships.

Position Overview

• Location: Working from home
• Duration: 6 months or more (working hours may be flexible)
• Remuneration: This is an unpaid position
• Expected Start Date: Second week of April 2026

The internship is designed to give you concrete experience in research and fundraising for the education sector within international development programs. This is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and gain valuable experience in the nonprofit sector, as well as an in-depth understanding of issues related to education opportunities for children from poor and marginalized communities.

As a Fundraising Intern or Volunteer, you will have hands-on responsibility to design and implement a well-thought-out fundraising program for Journey of Hope-Nepal.
