Job Description
Position Summary
Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity seeks a Homeowner Services Coordinator to support partner homebuyers after acceptance into the homeownership program. The role guides families through sweat equity, education, mortgage readiness, closing, and the first year of homeownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for approved partner homebuyers
- Facilitate onboarding and explain program expectations
- Track sweat equity hours with volunteer and construction teams
- Schedule and support homeownership training workshops
- Support mortgage-readiness, document preparation, and closing
- Maintain accurate case files and compliance documentation
- Conduct post-closing follow-ups and early delinquency outreach
- Support Homeowner Services Committee and community events
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work compassionately with diverse populations
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping
- Valid driver's license; background and credit checks required
- Willingness to complete annual MLO/QLO training
Preferred
- Experience in housing, social services, case management, or nonprofit programs
- Experience working with volunteers or committees
- Familiarity with Habitat for Humanity programs
Work Schedule
- Full-time, in-office, Monday to Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends for workshops or events
Salary & Benefits
- $45,000 annual salary
