Overview

Habitat for Humanity Asia Pacific seeks a consultant to document climate-resilient housing best practices across the region, synthesizing TWG inputs and external evidence into a comprehensive best-practices report.

Scope of Work

  • Review TWG technical documents, hazard profiles, and project repositories
  • Consult with country offices on local housing contexts and climate risks
  • Review regional/global literature and standards
  • Draft, validate, and finalize the best-practices documentation

Deliverables

  • Synthesis document and literature review
  • Draft and final best-practices documentation
  • Validation workshop report

Timeline

  • February to June 2026 (five months)

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in relevant fields (architecture, engineering, planning, climate science)
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with multi-country assessments and climate-resilient housing
  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills
