Staff Accountant

Position Summary

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County seeks a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, payroll, reconciliations, and audit preparation for a mission-driven social services organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain AP/AR and general ledger entries
• Perform monthly and annual reconciliations
• Support audit preparation and financial reporting
• Process biweekly payroll and coordinate with HR
• Track restricted/unrestricted funds and donations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks/Paylocity a plus
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 - $82,000 salary range
• Robust benefits including health coverage, PTO, and retirement
